Sweet Anticipation: A Baby Shower

My mom always says that "anticipation is just about as good as the real thing".

Last Saturday was a perfect delight of anticipation as we celebrated a dear friend's pregnancy.

I got to photograph the lovely event Sister and her sister-in-law put on.  Isn't that table scrumptious?

Little Ducklings were the sweet gender neutral theme as the parents decided fore-go the instant gratification an ultrasound can afford.

I admire their patience!  And have to admit that it makes the anticipation so exciting.

 Loved these beautiful "baby" cupcakes.

 Cute duck bubble favors.

And it just doesn't get any better than fresh flowers, esp. these lovely arrangements by the expectant momma's sister.

So yes, anticipation is almost as lovely as the real thing - but not quite.  Can't wait to see that baby!

  10. Your baby shower party turned out great! I really adore the work done here. You arranged such a perfect party. Anyway, I also want to host such amazing baby shower for my sister but I would like to book one of best San Francisco venues for this party.
