Entryway Ponderings

Trying to gather up some ideas via Pinterest for a little back entry-way inspiration.

 {Love this ingenious hook from PotteryBarn}

 This is the entry we use the most as it leads in from the garage.
It's also a closet-less entry and smack dab in the middle of our family room.

This area needs to manage all of our seasonal outdoor-ware and bags...

And manage to be quite charming at the same time.
Is this too much to ask?

 Wouldn't a lovely piece like this be......absolutely lovely?

Some sort of cabinet/locker arrangement would certainly help create a more distinct back entry area.
The price of these units is not so helpful however.

I suppose some very capable lady could construct something similar....
but not so sure if I am that lady.

At the very least a little creativity in the knob/hook department would go a long way.

Completely taken with everything about this photo -
such a perfectly warm, eclectic, cottage feel.

The creative gears are creakily turning, but I'd love some input!
Have you seen any good ideas for making a useful {charming} entryway?

  1. Love them all. I would think an armoire or something to catch a lot of stuff would be good.
